Diane Bechel Marriott, DrPH, directs Michigan Multipayer Initiatives at the University of Michigan, focusing on large-scale primary care practice demonstrations to improve value, quality, and patient/provider experience outcomes. She and her team served as statewide conveners for the Comprehensive Primary Care Plus, Michigan Primary Care Transformation national demonstrations, and the Patient-Centered Medical Home component of Michigan’s State Innovation Model. She also leads applied policy and research activity on population health and patient-centered care at the Center for Health Policy and Transformation with a special focus on integrating the voice of the patient in care delivery. She is a member of the Milbank Memorial Fund’s Multipayer Primary Care Network Advisory Group and has served on committees for the National Quality Forum, US Preventive Task Force, National Business Group on Health, and E-Health Initiative. Prior to assuming her position at the University of Michigan, Dr. Marriott led corporate health policy and strategy efforts at Ford Motor Company. She received her doctorate of health policy from the University of Michigan and teaches in the graduate health management and policy department at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.   Blog Posts by Diane Marriott What Makes Michigan’s High-Performing Primary Care Practices Work Well? JANUARY 2021                                                                                                 Veralynn Klink is the administrative assistant for the Michigan Multipayer Initiative (MMI) team. She provides administrative support to the leadership team, produces the Newsletter publications, maintains the website, and coordinates events. Prior to joining MMI, Veralynn spent eight years working for the University of Michigan Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Department, where she provided support to the audiology team in the Taubman Center Otolaryngology ACU. Veralynn has over 25-years’ experience in executive-level administrative and event planning activities.
