MiHIN is committed to a seamless transition to the new SDOH (Social Needs Screening) Use Case file specification (v4.0). Several organizations (5 of 31 organizations or 16%) have already completed the transition or are well underway in making progress. However, with fewer than 20 business days remaining, there are a large number that have not yet successfully transitioned to the new SDOH v4.0 file spec.
Here is a recap of the important timelines:
- MiHIN is committed to ensuring that all submitting organizations successfully transition to the v4.0 file specification by December 15, 2024.
- Submissions using the previous file specification will not be accepted after January 1, 2025.
- A MiHIN production freeze will begin in mid-December. This means that system updates will be limited during this period
- If you are ready to submit, start with a MiHIN Help Desk ticket stating that you want to convert to the SDOH v4.0 file specification, Mention Noah Nedd and Lisa Nicolaou in the ticket itself.
You can find more about the SDoH V.4 Use Case here. Lisa Nicalaou is leading the transition at MiHIN and can be reached directly at lisa.nicolaou@mihin.org or 231-392-5836. Additionally, the MiHIN Help Desk is available to assist you if the questions you have are more technical in nature.
